SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act to include applicants approved under provincial nominee programs in the list of exceptions to inadmissibility on health grounds.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

1. Subsection 38(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act is amended by adding the following after paragraph (b):
1. Le paragraphe 38(2) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés est modifié par adjonction, après l’alinéa b), de ce qui suit :
(b.1) has been approved under a provincial nominee program;

Coming into force
2. This Act comes into force on the day following the day on which it receives royal assent.
2. La présente loi entre en vigueur le jour suivant la date de sa sanction.
