SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Fisheries Act to expressly provide that a breach of a term or condition of a permission referred to in section 4 of the Act or of a lease or licence issued under the Act is an offence.

R.S., c. F-14
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
1. The Fisheries Act is amended by adding the following after section 9:
COMPLIANCE WITH TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Compliance with terms and conditions of leases, licences, etc.
10. (1) Every one acting under the authority of a permission referred to in section 4 or of a lease or licence issued under this Act shall comply with its terms and conditions.
Statutory Instruments Act
(2) For greater certainty, those permissions, leases and licences — including their terms and conditions — are not statutory instruments for the purposes of the Statutory Instruments Act.
Coming into force
2. This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.
