Summary
This enactment provides for the continuation of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). It specifies the Agency’s mandate, governance, administration, organization, powers, functions and accountability, and sets out criteria respecting resource allocation and conditions respecting cash contributions to international development assistance agencies and international emergency relief agencies.
It also authorizes the Agency to make regulations for carrying out the purposes and provisions of the Act.
