Summary
This enactment incorporates the Canadian Tobacco Youth Protection Foundation, a non-profit corporation established on behalf of the Canadian tobacco industry, whose mandate is to prevent the use of tobacco products by young persons in Canada. A levy would be imposed on tobacco manufacturers in order to provide the Foundation with the necessary funds to carry out its objects and activities.
