An Act to amend the Corrections and
Conditional Release Act

1. The Corrections and Conditional
Release Act is amended by adding the
following after section 103:
|
|
| Approval by
House of
Commons
|
103.1 Notwithstanding section 103 or any
provision in any Act of Parliament, no
appointment made under section 103 shall be
effective unless it is approved by a resolution
of the House of Commons, in which case it
shall be effective on the day it is approved by
that resolution.
