The Parliamentary Affairs Committee of the Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie (APF) concluded its intersessional work in Ottawa

Ottawa, April 25, 2019 - The Parliamentary Affairs Committee of the Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie (APF) invites members of the media to meet the Chair, Mr. Robert Aubin, for an update on its two days of meetings in Ottawa. The following branches of the APF were represented:

Belgium/French Community/Wallonia, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, France, Kosovo, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Ontario, Quebec, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Romania, Senegal, Switzerland and the Aosta Valley.

The mandate of the APF Parliamentary Affairs Committee is to study parliamentary matters of common interest, as well as the general direction of interparliamentary cooperation, legal issues in the francophone world, rights and freedoms, and democracy building.
