OTTAWA - November 16, 2018 –The Honourable Bob Nault, P.C., M.P., President of ParlAmericas and Chair of the Canadian Section of ParlAmericas, will travel to Bridgetown, Barbados on November 19–20, 2018, to participate in a conference on Transformational Leadership for Gender Equality in the Caribbean: Regional Strategies and Partnerships.

Featuring an address by the Honourable Mia Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, and remarks by Mr. Nault, this event will convene parliamentarians, ministers, as well as representatives from multilateral and national civil society organizations to discuss ways in which to strengthen gender equality through political action. Delegates will provide input into a forthcoming CARICOM Regional Gender Equality Strategy.
