the later of the day on which section 1 of that
Act comes into force and the day on which
subsection 2.2(6) of the Canada Shipping
Act, as enacted by section 2 of this Act,
comes into force, subsection 2.2(6) of the
Canada Shipping Act is replaced by the

Statutes of Canada, 1991, is repealed.

COMING INTO FORCE |

Coming into
force
|
206. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act
or any of its provisions, or any provision
enacted or amended by this Act, comes into
force on a day or days to be fixed by order
of the Governor in Council.
|
|
Exception
|
(2) Sections 170, 186 to 190 and 200 to 204
come into force on the day on which this Act
is assented to.
