Coming Into Force
60. (1) Sections 1 to 44 and 52 to 54 come into force 90 days after the day on which this Act receives royal assent.
(2) Sections 45 to 51 come into force on a day or days to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.

His Excellency the Governor in Council fixes July 23, 2015 as the day on which paragraph 26(1)(c) of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, as enacted by subsection 46(3) of the Act, and section 45, subsections 46(2) and 46(4) to (7), section 47, subsections 48(1) and (2) and 49(2) and sections 50 and 51 of the Act come into force.

His Excellency the Governor General in Council fixes June 1, 2016 as the day on which subsection 46(1) of the Act, paragraph 26(1)(d) of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, as enacted by subsection 46(3) of the Act, and subsections 48(3) and 49(1) and (3) of the Act come into force.
