SOMMAIRE
Le projet de loi modifie la Charte canadienne des droits des victimes en y ajoutant un droit relatif à la publication, par le délinquant, de renseignements concernant la victime.
SUMMARY
This enactment amends the Canadian Victims Bill of Rights by adding a right relating to the posting, by the offender, of information about the victim.

Posting of information about the victim
11.1 Toute victime a le droit à ce que des mesures raisonnables et nécessaires soient prises par les autorités compétentes du système de justice pénale afin d’interdire au délinquant de publier sur Internet tout renseignement concernant la victime.
End of inserted block11.1 Every victim has the right to have reasonable and necessary measures taken by the appropriate authorities in the criminal justice system to prohibit the offender from posting any information about the victim on the Internet.
