	CRIMINAL CODE
	*15. Section 319 of the Criminal Code* is amended by adding the following after subsection (7):**
Internet	(8) For the purposes of this section
	(a) the international computer net known as the Internet is a public place, and
	(b) placing material on the Internet in a form in which it may, by any direct or indirect means, with or without the use of a code or password or the payment of a fee, be recovered by another person, is a communication of a statement, regardless of whether or not it is shown that any person did so recover it.
