SUMMARY |

This enactment relates to the implementation of Canada's
obligations under the Convention on the Prohibition of the
Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons
and on their Destruction, which binds the signing parties to refrain from
various activities in relation to chemical weapons, to cooperate in a
number of ways so as to facilitate the implementation of the Convention
and to ensure that persons also refrain from those activities and provide
the necessary cooperation.
